The Swiss government along with the Federal Commission for Scholarships (FCS) for offers the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships to Foreign Scholars and Artists for the Academic Year 2019-2020.

Note: Scholarships open Early August every year (Tentative deadlines in November).

Involved Institutions:

  1. University scholarships by Swiss universities,
  2. Federal Institutes of Technology of Applied Sciences
  3. Arts scholarships: At schools of music and fine arts

Type of Scholarships:

  1. The scheme comprises of various postgraduate or masters scholarships to foreign scholars and researchers.
  2. These scholarships are also available for graduates from all disciplines with the opportunity to pursue doctoral or postdoctoral research studies in Switzerland.
